I've now given the project torch over to toby if toby feels to continue it.

@azekill_DIABLO If you check the repo you'll see that it's already in an organisation since a long time ago. I also dug up a mockup from Gitter for a web based texturepack hosting solution (not just for GMC but any TP hosted in the organisation). Feel free to contribute (I've retired from it myself).

I like how you changed the formspecs and even the loading bar (thanks 0.4.16)!
It's incredibly good. Good job and keep going!
(It's also amazing how "real" you can make 16x16 look.)
Hi. I don't have any published mods yet.

Thanks. Yes, GMC is quite vivid. Though I'm focusing on another TP at the moment I always come back to using GMC once in a while.

Wuzzy includes a MC to MCL2 texture converter in his code project, just use that.

Good news for friends of FOSS. I stumbled across the official original Curseforge GMC entry and to my surprise it's not licensed CC-BY-NC-SA but WTFPL. This means the license now has been ported to CC-BY-SA 4.0 which is a more free license. That in turn means it's not marked as "non-free" in the content database anymore. Rejoice!

Hey Texmex, I just noticed after doing a fresh install for some testing; that GMC is still flagged as non-free when viewed through the Minetest v5.0-dev client.
As it requires the "show_nonfree_packages = true" option before appearing.

It seems to show okay on the website, but I'm not sure what's up.
REFI_Texture Pack: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20355 - Supports MineClone2 up to v0.80, MTG, and more.

Hey! That’s odd, because I was able to relicense it to CC BY SA recently. It seems like that license change hasn’t propagated to all parts of the Content DB system which would be why it’s shown normally on the web site but not in the client.
