Does anyone know if texture pack repos can utilize PPAs?
So that when updates are made to a texture pack, those who use it can be notified of the updates, and decide whether to install them or not?
Probably a dumb question but I am just wondering.

Re: PPAs?
From my knowledge, anything can utilize PPAs. I mean mods do, and all they really do is just install a file.

Re: PPAs?
heh, it was actually just a dumb thought I had.
Thinking on it more, it wouldn't actually make sense to do : /
More so, not worth the effort involved.
I had thought it might be a good way to keep people who use certain TP's notified of updates, and can install them if they wish but..., it would only make sense while a TP was in it's WIP stages, and then with any other changes, such as adding new nodes to MT
I think it would make more sense to clean up and reorganize the texture packs section. To make it easier for users to search for packs, and keep track of old (outdated), complete, WIP, etc...
As well as a discussion section (but not all confined to one thread, turning into chaos) :P
