No, because of copyright.

Ah, alright. That's cool.

Is there any way I could do it myself just for personal use?

Yes, it would mostly involve renaming files (and colouring a few ones like grass and leaves). There are some scripts to aid you in that process, like this one: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5281 (but the link is dead).

This is Soartex Fanver and I'd love if this can be converted...... cause it's the most downloaded texture pack in Curse!

If the copyright allowed me to convert it, I can do it :)
EDIT: Hum, for Soartex Fanver I'm not sure that it's allowed to convert it; licence:
-Public redistribution of Soartex Fanver is strictly prohibited.
-Customized packs which contain Soartex Fanver textures are not allowed to be distributed anywhere.

Here is a texture pack that I made, I'm just too lazy to convert it.

Its unfinished, but that's just for the horse texture.

I'm honestly not sure why I had "I like PIE." in my signature when I don't even really like it that much.

Okay kind've similar to the way Neko did the list to request.

Name of Texture Pack:
Link to Texture Pack:
Size of Texture Pack (If the texture pack has different sizes)

Note: posting a request here does not mean your pack will be converted, but if there is enough interest towards it, it might be converted by someone one day.

Hi all. I would really really love to have the Chroma hills texture pack for Minetest, I'm sure there are more interested as well.

Name of Texture Pack: Chroma Hills
Link to Texture Pack: http://www.chromahills.com/forum/downloads.php
Size of Texture Pack: 128 x 128 or 64 x 64

It would be really awesome... thanks for all your great work. :-)

FunkyMonk it doesn't look like the chroma hills texture pack is released under a license that will allow converting it to a texture pack for Minetest.

If anyone has any Minecraft texture pack they would really like to use in minetest. Upload then post the link so I can download it and convert it, I will then re upload and send the link in a PM.

You need to make sure it is ok to be converted with the owner before requesting the conversion, I will not be held responsible for any copyright infringement.

And I am only doing conversions for people to use for Personal Use, not to distribute or claim as their own only to use themselves with that there really is no copyright issues as you are not making them publicly available.

I would be interested in some ancient roman themed pack such as Romecraft by Stugace or Athos-Roman by Jaaacqs and Aethirium and continued by kyctarniq.

There seem to be several versions of Romecraft such as
Romecraft GERMANIA Resource and Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.7.2/1.6.4 or
RomeCraft Texture Pack – Minecraft 1.5.2/1.5.1/1.4.7 or
RomeCraft-resource-pack 1.8.8 or
1.7 - 32x-RomeCraft-CORE-Version

The Athos Rome Architectural Resource Pack by kyctarniq seems to include all resources created for TheCityofAthos on Drunkserver. The original authors state to have been inspired by Romecraft among others but to have started from scratch.

I have no idea how these texture packs are licensed but all seem to require contact to the authors.
If it helps the authors can be pointed to my Roman-map project that started as an educational experiment.

The armor could be converted to an addon for the 3D Armor mod. As Minetest can easily add new decorative blocks I guess the usage of colored wool for the decorative motives can be avoided. For the paintings (kristoffer_zetterstrand) the gemalde mod might be utilised.

Heres one that might be cool:

It looks really neat, but might require shaders ...
