oh, well I guess I can't help. Enjoy the texture pack. :D

Anyways, the new texture pack will be a 16x16 pack set, which will resemble the old snes style textures. It will be presented in its own thread once complete. The only thing that will slow me down is the latest dev built, since I can't run the latest dev built without a proper direct3d support to test (this was also the reason Minetoon slowed to a halt as well.) So I hope we can get that solved, otherwise I might have to stop entirely.

Work, Work, Work... :D

And pack texture for Moreores (all tool = tool steel / all mineral = mineral steel / all lump = lump steel / block ...)

Sorry for my bad English and my poor contribution (i am not "designer").
And thx for beautifull texture Gambit.

Im thinking of redoing the entire pack, but that's to be seen. So far Ive been super busy working on a new texture pack (avoiding mods with more tools) and 3D mob ideas still working in the mill. That sorta stuff.

Well can you support this mod: http://minetest.net/forum/viewtopic.php ... 855#p23855 it's only 16 colours, not too hard to do.

Thanks, Jordach.

I think i got the most up to date texture, it looks like that:
Image

As i was re-reading the post, i'v taken it on my todo list and tweaked a bit the original as in my sense, the water was also seems too bright.

So once revised, i play now with this:

I like it, i share it : http://ompldr.org/vZWo5MQ/default_water.png

No credits or congrats to take, the sole and unique person to tx is Gambit for this awesome work on this texture pack.
I don't know anything about licensing so i think Gambit license apply.

Gambit, if you want add it to your pack or as an alternative texture, do as you like of course.

A big thanx anyway to you cause this pack is really awesome.

Thanks for all the support you've all been giving me and I understand everyone here wants a new update to this texture pack. I'll do my very best to nudge in some time in my schedule to rework the pack.

I'll admit I dropped this project to tweak on 3D mobs and brainstorming ideas for Minetest the most. However, after reading several comments asking for an offical update by me, I've finally decided to put those aside and get back to what you guys want done.

Of course that wasn't the only factor that brought me back. It's the fact that we're getting riddled with Minecraft conversion packs and I personally felt MineTest is losing its originality.

Now I don't mind anyone using those packs. I respect your liberty; it just feels off putting to see MineTest's development blossum so much, yet continue to take hand-me-downs from Minecraft. So I've returned to MineToon in hopes of bringing MineTest its pride back.

That's because 99% of packs made specially for Minetest are bad; open-source users/advocates tend to forget about asset quality, quite often.

Erm, 99%????? No, I would say about 70-80%. And I love this pack slightly less than my wife!

Thanks Gambit!

Starting from square one. It'll have an improved look to it. This is where patience is required to get the look just right.

Some new water texture. I'll miss the swirly thingy too... but it'll find its way back into the 2.0, just not as water. Wait and see. Swirly will have its revenge.

The "last update" never had a inactive furnace because Minetest didn't have that feature during the time it was made.

Nope, never finished Moreblocks or MoreOres I felt it became redundant for me to do.
