Re:
Hey Gambit.
I dont know if you are still arround here (last post was Sun Aug 13, 2017 08:13), but let me say:
Your work is absolutely great!
But the ND in your choosen license is a totaly disaster for people who need to scale down your textures, I am one of them...

VanessaE wrote:The problem with the -ND in that case is that you *can't* use these textures in a mod, as mod textures generally need to be in the 16 to 32px range, while yours are 250px (when I last looked - btw it is advisable that you make your next release an even 256px). -ND disallows derivatives, and I'm pretty sure that scaling an image qualifies as that.

Re: MineToon
Maybe it is forbidden to post something on old topics?
I were warned by a moderator when I comment an old topic from 2010 or 2011.

And even if it would be an idioticly rule cause there is no reason for such a rule.
This board have problems with deleted posts that make whole threads unreadable and out-of-date threads (no not just in the "Old" section) that should be moved to an archive or just
deleted.
This thread here is readable, the links are working and the files working too, so why should it be a problem to post something even if the last post is several years old?

Re: MineToon
where i can find this copyright notice? i want to edit this texture pack and launch itunknownentity wrote:The textures of MineToon are copyright protected, so I think Gambit doesnt posted them here because of that.
Re: MineToon
Im assuming that there is no more copyright thing there, the first post was edited removing any information about it so i think Gambit made it silently copyright free.
If someone knows ANYTHING please let me know. I want to re launch it!

Re: MineToon
Looks like he originally chose CC-BY-NC-ND
He later explains he didn't want any one contributing to the project because of its personal nature.
He then goes into even more detail about not wanting variants or modifications to his work.
If he later removed all notation of license, then you might be right.
