Minetest Forums

This brings back the old Minetest pack to minetest_game and is compatible with mods (it only changes default mods' textures).
The only added textures are desert sand and desert stone.





Installation instructions: extract the directory and place it in the “textures” directory of your Minetest user data directory.

¹: On Windows, the user data directory is where you have extracted Minetest.
    On GNU/Linux (packaged version or compiled with “run in place” setting disabled), the user datadirectory is "~/.minetest". Create a directory inside if needed.

Nice. I like the old furnace texture. It looks like you put fuel in the bottom to heat up the top like wood stoves.

Yes, but i believe celeron55 wanted to give minetest a new feel, so that's when he added new textures.
But yes the old textures are nice

You did not make the textures, celeron55 did, you just made a texture pack out of them.

the results of this poll that c55 himself started agree that the default textures should have been kept AND that if new textures were to be put in then it should have been the almostMC texturepack

Man these textures look like linux threw up all over minecraft lol.

how update minetest and download mods ? help my
