Looks pretty good. I like the feel of this pack, reminds me (sort of) of Dokucraft.

Looks really nice, maybe a little too much detail (on the leaves, particularly) for my own taste, but definitely good looking and efficient.

Then, the usual annoying question : what's license is it available under?

Thank you, do not hesitate to try and make me return, and ask me to do mod support.
I do not know minetest, I do not know which are the most used mod.

thetoon : It's complicated, there are several authors.
Let me think some days.

I was curious about that, because most authors don't like redistribution of their packs.

This is not my case, but I'm not one to decide.
This pack is under CC-BY-NC-SA

Thanks. NC really is bad from a FOSS perspective (considered non-free-as-in-speech), but at least it's redistributable.

The SA is sometimes considered not free, there is debate :)
Which would make this pack, an Open source package, but not-free.
But I do not see the connection between NC and Free(license) ?

Yes, but I won't follow on this one. As far as I'm concerned (and as FSF is too), BY-SA is FOSS-compliant (after all, GPL is "SA" as well).
Which would make this pack, an Open source package, but not-free.
Actually, the other way around : "Free" (as in beer) advocates are usually on the "GPL" side while "Opensource" ones are MIT/BSD. But this isn't really a rule, and more of an (sometimes erroneous) observation.
But I do not see the connection between NC and Free(license) ?
For there is none : BY-NC, with or without SA and even without ND, is non-free. It (theorically) forbids distribution on : sold promotional DVDs, ad-funded websites, and so on. Such a graphic package can't be included on a Debian distribution of Minetest, for instance.

This isn't a problem "per se", Minetest allows the use of non-free graphic packs. But I'm looking for a good free-as-in-beer one - for I don't want to spend time adapting something I can't distribute - and this isn't Summerfields either. Don't worry though, I will end up finding one.

What? The Share-Alike clause does not infringe any of the 4 freedoms as defined by eg. the FSF.

There's no such thing as “open source culture” anyway.

Calinou : Some people say "if I can not change the license, I am not free" it is not my opinion.
RealBadAngel : sorry, I repair.
LionsDen : thank you.

Can i send pull requests to the github repo? Or in other words, is there a chance that pull requests get merged? I would like to add some textures for mods and standard stuff.

Edit: The link to the site behind the word Lithiumsound doesn't work: It should be this one: link

I love the cotton and my desert-stone-brick castle looks awesome with this texture. Please can you do some Carbone textures: locked furnaces, gold tools, silver ingot (block, axe etc), tin ingot (lump, block), Cotton (string), Meat, rats, (+ cooked), shields, bows and arrows. Thanks

Sorry for my late reply.
You can offer all the PR you want, if the textures do not exist yet, it is a 90% chance of being approved.

I do not understand, the sheep are already in ?
...
or not ...
I'll check :)
