I have a stupid question... is that 186 commits completed or in a cue to be completed?

No, these builds are directly built from the master branches: MTE, MTG
Each commit in minetest/minetest in the spoiler is basically a mini-bump for the Minetest version. If there were any additional patches (changes) applied, then these would have to be published and would most likely also be mentioned in the post for the download link.

Are all the .7z archives corrupted? I get the same error messages for all the archives I tried - here are the error messages:

Note that all the errors are related to .lua files only. After the extraction finishes (albeit unsuccessfully), I get a perfect MT folder structure (every file shows up), but every single file is 0 bytes...

Are you using the 7-Zip app (linked in first post of this thread? That's what I had to do for successful unzipping.

I tried with both 7z and WinRAR (check my post for the logs), just to be sure - I get the exact same errors on both utilities.

It works at my without mistakes but 7z programm is the right programm for the file to unzip unstable versions.

There are some steps:
Step 1: Download 7z to unzip the file.
Step 2: Download a 7z file which is not unzipped.
Step 3: Open 7z File Manager and find out the file.
Step 4: Now you need to unzip the following file. (password required. idk if it works without password)
Step 5: You're done to unzip files. Now you can use/manage the file folder whatever you want.

Today I download the last sfan file and sucessfully decompressed it with 7-Zip 15.14 on Windows7.

I think that your problem was a corrupted file (maybe a communication error during the donwload), I recommend that you download the file again and retry.

PD: Sorry for my bad english.

I got in touch with sfan5 on IRC, who suggested updating my 7-Zip to the latest version. Problem solved!

Update your copy of 7-Zip and try again. It's sure to work.

Can I request for a latest 64 bit build with luajit LJ_GC64 mode enabled?

The last version you built with luajit LJ_GC64 mode (0.4.16-dev), is the only recent version that I am able to use for anything that's mildly more intensive on windows. A newer version would be really nice.

I'm requesting for a latest 0.5.0-dev 64-bit windows build with luajit LJ_GC64 mode enabled.
Hopefully this makes it actually clear enough...

Because I can't be bothered to keep separate builds running, all 64-bit builds now come with GC64-enabled LuaJIT.
