The skin database may be useful for extracting some key features and combining them in different permutations, that may even be a good idea for a mod...

What I am trying to achieve is an almost infinite degree of possible uniqueness to a player's appearance, without the administrative requirements of allowing user provided skins.

I need a frog texture and mesh, 16x16, not too cartoony but not super realistic either. Also need a feline texture and mesh, 16x32 (big cat), not too cartoony but not super realistic either.

Also need mesh? for the attached butterfly texture. If I had any idea how to use blender, I'd do it myself.

The citybuilder mod I'm working on needs better textures. Who may help?

The first item is basicly a sign. It ought to act as a construction site sign - the kind of big signs you may see at a real construction site of a new building. Drawn pictures of the future building and/or floor plans are pretty common on such signs. The sign I want has to be a placeholder for very diffrent buildings and will remain standing after construction is finished. I'm pretty satisfied with the nodebox model I've got, and the default wooden texture may be applied to the nodebox model. But a sign without anything on looks empty. I'd love to have a paper with a simple (sufficiently general) floor plan on it. There is also an unconfigured version of the sign where no plan has been put on yet. Maybe it needs an additional texture.

The second node is the city administration node. It ought to look like an expensive desk out of solid wood with a book on it. A bottle of ink also couldn't hurt. I do have a basic model but would love the book (and the potential ink bottle) to be 3d as well.

The menu also doesn't look too good right now. Games of that genre often use a sheet of paper (old, edges worn out, brownish/yellowish, ..).

Can anyone help?

In my experience at a real construction site most signs show advertising for the construction firm and a few show something like "Betreten verboten!
Eltern haften für ihre Kinder.". Anyway, how about using twoelk's picture as floor plan?

That's right and applies to more modern building sites. The player in citybuilder will start with very small, rather medieval houses (which can get pretty modern). Such a modern sign would not fit to the simple huts at the beginning.

Something like that, yes. Only in black and white and not for a big church but for a simple house. I'm still looking for such a texture.

I am not really familiar with gimp or something similar so the mod is still in prototype style at the time.

The next textures on buttons would be nice:
- The Exit button on top-right should be a cross like in the OS
- Compress Button - Means collect items to max stack sizes to get free stacks in players inventory
- Sweep Button - Sweep the crafting field
- Craftable - Show Items craftable by items in inventory
- Lookup field (A book item at the time) - Lookup for information about the item
- Inventory line selection
- Save / Restore buttons in creative
- Trash All in creative - At the time trash icon confusing beside the trash field
- The Workbench if the mod is used in workbench mode

Feel free to propose more changes ;)

I'm going to post my texture requests for MineClone 2 here.

MineClone 2 is a Minecraft clone which could see some help in textures. At the moment, MineClone 2 has its textured based on the “Pixel Perfection” resource pack for Minecraft 1.11, but there are some modifications.

Currently, I need:
  • 16×16 textures for 16 glazed terracotta blocks
  • New paintings to replace the ugly ones
  • Tweaks to existing textures to eliminate the general Pixel Perfection weirdness

All textures must be of course free/libre (CC BY-SA 4.0 or more liberal) and should also roughly fit with the style of the other textures.
