Sound does not play in a specific direction [SOLVED]

I have two sound files that are played on a node,one of them plays on the right or left side of the heatset depending on the player's direction (this allows you to determine in which direction the sound is playing), but the other one always plays the same way on both sides of the headset.

What is necessary for the sound to have this difference between the sides (right and left)?

At a guess I'd say that the sounds that play on both sides are recorded in stereo. Positional sounds must be recorded in mono otherwise they will be heard by everyone on a server regardless of their position.

Most audio editing software should have an option to convert a track to mono, though I would personally recommend Audacity if you don't already have something.
