color of foreground-text / contrast

Depending on the background, text with a fixed color can be hard to read,
e.g. in the inventory the white numbers over yellow dry grass.

Is there a way to select the color of foreground-text
to have a better contrast over its background ?

In `minetest.conf` may help.

There does not seem to be a way to change the inventory text color from the client side.
