Could you please publish the mesh files? 3ds, md3, b3d or something like that. I'm playing around with my experimental 3d mesh file support and need some experimental meshes.
I'd be verry happy too see these great animals

I like that oerkki!
I also was bored a few months ago

Oerkkis with fake cell shading effect in blender game engine
Player model (inspired by this really well made animation "Revenge"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPJUBQd-PNM and this "Revenge - Behind the Scenes"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj_eaclFPWE) for my silly game made in Blender Game Engine
the double body is for clothes, armor, helmets, etc, and some facial animation.

Sure, can you use .lwo? Cause that's what it is so far. Not sure if I can export/convert it to .3ds, md3, or b3d (I'll check on that later.)

I tried to do that in my attempt, but I couldn't figured it out. However, I doubt the MineTest engine could support cel shading. It'll be pretty awesome if it did.
But I like your stuff too. That's why made this thread, to bring out some 3D models.

I don't think so, this is a simple trick that APPEARS to be cell shading, see here how this is done, this should work in minetest

How well did Blender work with the .lwo files? Did the pivots work properly?

And what about that DM you made? It looks like a lot of blocks there. Were you trying to make something entirely new with it?
Posted: Tue Apr 10, 2012 11:55
by Melkor
it has only 12 blocks, I've designed it in this way to avoid the minecraft style. Is just my interpretation of how the DM should be in 3D.

That is great. The DM looks like a bear or yhetti, would you ever consider making a shark?
Posted: Wed Apr 11, 2012 03:36
by Gambit
Should who make a shark? I thought about making one the other night. I'll see if I could take a crack at it.
It may take a while since I'm having with trouble with my connection.

Here's the best I could do. It looks pretty bland without actual texture.
