rotate buildings

Hey,
is there a mod were I can rotate buildings? I mean not rotate with worldedit. I mean when I turn on a lever, then an engine start to rotate and I can place blocks on the engine so that the blocks rotate too.
Is there a mod?

Pedestals will rotate whatever item you place on it. But only one node, not a entire building lol

Rotating in that way isn't supported. You could store diffrent schematics and place them whenever you punch a certain button. That would be like one of those bridge/castle door mods except that you'd have to store more than one version. Or you could turn the top of your tower into a mesh and rotate that. Meshes are not limited the way normal blocks are.

I guess a mod could do it if it does something like the meshnode mod, but I don't know of any existing mod that does this.

If rotation in steps of 90° is enough, a mod providing a "platform node" could be a solution.

The sum of placed platform nodes would form a base that would rotate (by right-clicking or sending a mesecon signal) by 90° each step. All nodes above the platform would rotated with it (possibly around a special platform node defining the axis). The mod could check in advance of rotation whether the space is unoccupied and only allow rotation if so.

This would provide means of rotating buildings while still in survival game-mode.

Sorry, they don't exist yet, I was merely sketching out the concept above.
