Should we add the PB&J pup back

I feel like the PB&J pup should be added back. Just think about all these players that worked so hard for a nyan cat, but now it's just an unknown object. They probably feel very sad. I'm not sure why the PB&J pup was taken out. I don't remember that being copyright.

Then re-add without sounds, i'm sure the original Nyan Cat didn't have any sounds though.

Nyan/PB&J is about a larger phenomenon than just its merits as a feature. That is, anything implemented into any game as a result of social inertia. For example
the lamp in Star Citizen which was shoehorned in after a development stream left the camera focused on a lamp with a note taped to it. It became such a gag that fans formed lamp guilds and the devs kowtowed by introducing purchasable in-game lamps.
However do such items provide any meaningful experience to your average player? Will it still be "funny" months or years from now? Will it cheapen the presentation of your game?
Minetest had already gotten away with this with Mese, likely because it is just ambiguous enough to sound like a legit mineral while not being obviously* a part of some gag or fanbase. Mese won't sound ridiculous five or ten years from now and in that way, is a bit timeless.

hey, it's not about the realism...nyan symbolised something bigger, better...but as nobody took my advice of an alternate cat, non-copyrighted, different name etc, we should let it be dead...no pup will ever be worthy...
nyan is not "funny", it's a way of life
searching for the rarest creature in minetest
searching for the ONLY creature in minetest
Nyans were gods, and you killed them...
and mese is part of the game, just like "redstone" isn't a real thing...
If you aim to please the
average player, go to minec***t...

I'm going to make the same suggestion I made on the server's Discord chat here as well.
"I have an idea for the Nyan Cat thought - what if you reinstall it with your Own texture for the Nyan Cat itself - a HT icon.. something that is only found on HT and no other place.. or if others do "copy" it, they have to make it their own also, because it would need to have HT on it somewhere in the design of the texture.."
Now, the fun part could be a contest for ideas with dimensions, color ideas, and other stipulations to fit the HT theme. However, that would be totally up to EDad and his team (sorry I'm still learning who's who on the server).

but a contest is good, as everyone gets a chance to present their idea...

Even though I vote in favor of re-adding it back, I also note that not everyone liked the PB&J pup.
Why not think up a better replacement for the nyan cat instead of trying to figure out who doesn't likes the PB&J pup
