Wither Alternative?

I understand, that many users appear to not want to completely mimic Minecraft.

However, the Wither is pretty rad:

Therefore, I wanted to create a discussion for brainstorming something potentially better!

The Wither is a really cool boss for creating warfare, as they can do a lot of destruction in FFA. - They are also hard to create!

It may be worth noting that mobs_mc (using mobs_redo) has the Wither, though I am not aware of the extent of their functionality. MineClone2 implements the creation and other functions of the Wither, though it is supposedly buggy according to this update.

Dungeon Lord exists on Xanadu :)
it looks like the current Dungeon Master because our Dungeon Master has a custom player-sized model.
it uses the same attacks but with more power and bigger explosions, and it drops mese and diamond blocks instead of single crystals.

i like the idea of the Oerkking.
how about adding more ranks to it?
