I think that minetest is too much conservative.

i could not give a fart in a high wind what they do not want . its open source so everyone has the freedom to do what they want .so you have to respect everyones creative right.
BrutalTest would indeed destroy the kid friendly image and get Minetest blacklisted . they would have to rebrand as salad test.
with far less Speed Violence.. Momentum.
We could shrink the kids Alice style and have them fight potato blight with spray cans as vegan avengers .
But I can just imagine you playing BrutalTest watching your petz getting slaughtered by ingenious methods, it would make for great content .

I think there are other communities for that type of content that might work better for you. I don't think Minetest + mature content is really something many people here are interested in. I noticed a few of your posts express loneliness and you have a lot of dating/sexual topics crop up from time to time. Maybe you could put yourself together and find a nice woman or healthier outlet for those sorts of things that would make you happier. I know it's difficult with the environment in COVID right now, but still. I just don't see how Minetest can fulfill that for people and its not a good place to do it really because there are so many young people that play these types of games. That's my opinion on these things.

I had someone approach me asking if they could pay me to make an nsfw furry game for minetest. I only said no for two reasons:
1. They wanted the game to be fully closed-source. (this is against my personal ethics, I believe that code at least should always be open source)
2. They wanted me to post it on the forums, and I didn't feel like getting banned.

I think that as long as something doesn't cause harm to others, It should be allowed. I understand why most users don't want to see stuff like that, but derision and moral assertions aren't helpful.

Runs, your solution might be to make your own website / discord server for stuff like this as it's pretty evident that most minetest users are unwilling/unable to consider this rationally.

To everyone: remember that minetest is supposed to be an engine, not a game. It should have no inherent style, mechanics, or values. Just because nodes exist in six-directional space doesn't mean they have to be six-sided.

It is very rational to want our website to be accessible to children and educators. Hosting NSFW content also has consequences on hosting - many virtual server providers just don't allow it at all.

Wow, so apparently SL is still a thing. Even if it nowadays is basically a porn game with extra steps.

But this made me installing the Firestorm Client after many years again. Not checking out NSFW destinations though but wandering through absolutely barren and empty grids coming across still working sploders and other gambling machines.

Was this really what we liked? A bit of nostalgia, though.

I wonder who pays for this decades old content …

OK, thanks for respond. I will create a Minetest comuniitty for this purpose. Not an alternative one, but a diferent one with sensible material and facts (all totally legal, of course).
