It make uselessly heavier the topics and it's quite annoying when the quoted post is just above...

Can you remove automatically the pictures in [quote], please ?

For a while the quote function did switch img tags to url tags. Don't know why that's no longer the case, probably to do with the switch in forum software.

One feature I miss more is quoting multiple posts, makes it a pain in the ass to respond to several people in one post.

You can still do that, but it's not as handy as the old "Quick quote" button: Click the "Post Reply" button (or use the "Quote" button in the first post you want to quote), then in the "Post a reply" page just scroll down to "Topic Review" and click on the "Quote" buttons on the posts.
