Yeah because the original horses were from the mo' creatures mod originally.

Yep, i heard that... but the models really look wierd with that face especially!

Right or there should be a brand-new model for MineClone 2 but not the new Minecraft 1.13 ones

Don't worry. The official development target is still Minecraft PC Edition 1.11.
I'm creating MineClone 2, a Minecraft clone for Minetest. I made the Help modpack, adding in-game help to Minetest.

I've got a list of bugs and such which m or may not be repetitive, incorrect (due to my minimal knowledge of Minecraft as a cheap skeet), or just personal preference.

Mobs seem to generate too much, and bad mobs do not appear to be hurt by daylight.

Once two spiders generated in my small lit house one on top of the other. I don't remember if I was in survival or not, but if I was, they didn't hurt me.

Appears to be no way to saddle a horse (even when tamed).

When it is raining, you can hear it in the end dimension.

The one video of Minecraft end dimension I saw showed these really tall black structures. Absent in mineclone2.

Squids will swim up onto beach land and drown.

Only undead mobs (not undead horses) that don't come from the nether should get hurt by the day light.

Understandable. The fact that the mobs generate so much, however, is disconcerting. How did the front of my house fence get blown up? I suspect creepers. How can I defend against them?

You could try to build on a platform like 3 blocks above the ground or surround your stuff with water.

zargulthewizard: Knowledge of Minecraft is not really required to play this. :-) That's why I added the in-game help (I hope you find it useful). But if you have a hard time understanding any concept or thing in MCL2, just feel free to complain and I look how to fix the help.

MCL2 will be largely based on whatever the Minecraft Wiki says (but that doesn't mean that the Minecraft Wiki is also the MineClone 2 Wiki).

Some of the important help topics (hunger, mobs) have not been covered yet, I will probably add some entries in the next version.

Spiders are peaceful when in light.

The End dimension is still a work in progress and only a preview. I plan to completely change how the End dimension will be generated.

To prevent hostile mobs (like creepers) from spawning, you just need lots of light. Hostile mobs don't like to spawn in well-lit areas. I think there are many strategies to defend against creeper.

When it is raining, you can hear it in the end dimension.

Confirmed.

A better api for mobs so they can move around blocks instead of ramming their head into the wall. Also to be able to detect a better route to get to you (go around things).

Found out that the sound of rain does eventually stop (correctly too as it is still raining).

Platform idea good, though I think I will go more than three blocks up. They have now blown up my house beyond practical repair.

Have tamed horses, but to no use. Managed to saddle a pig, but couldn't mount it. What's up? Do I need to saddle it then tame it?

As a last thing I wanted to say that I love this subgame. I intend to alter pipeworks to work with it (expecting to mainly be changing mesecons to redstone). I'm actually playing it more than minetest for now. Thank you wuzzy!

Someone from the Minecraft community had mixed the old and the new model because barely anyone likes the newest model

The Minecraft team screwed up on the new horse model. The community doesn't like it. The Dev's only want to improve the current (new) model because we aren't going back to the old model.

I'm fine with the current mineclone 2 horse models, though this may only be because this is the first time I've had horses in computer gaming at all.
