The keybindings are strictly related to the keyboard, so the mouse actions are not present in that screen.
Doing so is technically correct, which we all know is the best kind of correct. :)

Thanks for letting me know.

There was an experimental work to rework minecarts, but got reverted for being too buggy.
Its not technically a bug, but should be fixed. Not sure it will be included in the next release due to the already huge todo list.

There is a mod adding a trident, ant it may be included in mineclone2 in the future, as the target has been updated to 1.17 (with priority for 1.12 features), but this mod isn't fully done yet.

I didn't try it.
It isn't on cdb, but you can find it on GitHub: https://github.com/Minetest-j45/mcl_tridents

When will the maps be added?
Also, the mine carts tends to come off the rails.

"Houston, we have a problem.."

On page one, please take the / away from the end of the link below. It currently goes to a 404 error page with the / at the end, removing the / at the end, takes you to the correct page. Thanks.

Error link:

Fixed link

Fleckenstein just has to edit the first post of this thread, removing the / from the link.. has nothing to do with mese-hub developers. geesh..

the Game, has infinite properties (of Fun):, let the developer devote His Time, to some other projects, and we will surely see an anti-dry spell of creative freedom

All of these things will probably be added to MineClone5 before they exist in MineClone2.

I am very confused...
Has MineClone 2 [0.71.0] been abandoned and revived in MineClone 5 [0.71.14] ? Can I import my MC 2 map in MC5 ?
I appreciate your work guys and enjoy it so much. But really don't want to start over again. Something in the Minetest update corrupted my old world and I decided to play vanilla MineClone2 in the hope that it will not happen again...
Now the MC5 has whole new thingies... Why don't you just stick to one thing and not to diraile in 1000 versions ?!

From what I gathered it hasn’t been worked on for awhile, the maintainer has temporarily ran out of steam but they might be getting back to it soon.
The reason for two different versions, it’s two separate projects worked on by different people.
Mineclone 5 is a fork of Mineclone 2.

Fun fact, if you will try organizing devs into a single project, you'll have to create an additional project for that.

Long story short, MineClone 2 is developing, but currently couldn't be released. It contains bugs in master branch, it contains also some feature lack. Fixing them here was unwelcome for long time, that's why I started to release MCL5. If you get MCL5 and remove all new mods from there, you'll get more or less fixed MCL2.

I won't blame anyone. Everyone is trying to do the best.

If you don't like current MCL2 and MCL5, why not to try Mineclonia? It's actually third very powerful fork of MCL2. Unfortunately, despite the fact that it uses good coding practices, I think it's the most controversial fork. But there is also cora-production branch, which is probably the most performant and stable today.

You can read about current state of the Big Split here: https://git.minetest.land/MineClone2/Mi ... ssues/1944

And you can say something supportive to Elias Fleckenstein who finishes mobs makes possible to restore the MCL2 Delivery.

Oh, by the way, @Jackknife really can help by posting Shipwreck schematics.

Guys, if you created some mts schematics and really can share it under open license, please check https://git.minetest.land/MineClone2/Mi ... issues/958

Unfortunately I haven’t created any mts schematics. I’m not even sure how to do that yet.

Wow... Somebody removed me from maintainer list of MineClone 2 without sending a notification... Nice move... Well, then what I wrote 2 posts ago is no longer official info, just my humble opinion, as Nicu said. Well, I didn't know that, so... very sorry... bye here, now officially... see you in MineClone 5.

Good luck to Fleckenstein and Nicu

Said "somebody" was Elias Fleckenstein. See this commit. Who is Nicu, and what did he say? Your link is dead (you used [ url ]...[ /url ] instead of [ url = actual link ] Nicu said [ /url ]).
