In other news:
* (mapgen) sugarcane gets coloring according to biome now (cora)
* clouds lifted up higher for valleys mapgen (kay27)
* podzol generates when planting huge spruce trees (cora)
* fixed minor enderman dupe (cora)
* uncarved pumpkins fully work now (erlehmann)
* placed dragon egg respects protection now (before teleporting) ( AFCMS)
* saplings can be planted on all dirt types now (mycelium and coarse dirt too) (cora)
* all dirt types can be turned into grass path now (erlehmann)
* added completely original end crystal beam texture (cora)

Hi. This is very good. Thanks for the update.
I started playing couple months ago with Minetest and inevitably Mineclone 2.
I couldn't figure out If there's a way to create truly "Unbreakable" items with giveme command in MCL2.
Is it possible to make unbreakable items using commands?

JiCeyCraft: their nickname [1] is a bit crude language but in no way it warrants getting strait up conflictual about it. At first I though you knew them and it was a private joke but it turns out that no. It was strait mean. And also it was unclear it was about the username and looked like hostility to someone just sharing a server.
And your answer afterward was still aggressive.

but some French people are very puritanical and aggressive, maybe the fault of the government here, very corrupt and propagating bad words? Many sheep who think what they are told to think... thank you to all those who make mineteste evolve, I find this really fantastic and I really like participating in this...

Not exactly next but yeah I hope to get those (and other structures) going soon. What can be expected fairly soon is some of the new fancy nodes particularly deepslate, copper and blackstone maybe crimson and warped stuff too.

Has anyone found their stuff after dying and coming back but not their XP? It happened to me 3 times when I'm the only one the in the server.
And once, I also lost my stuff after less than 5min (that the time of dropped item disappearance, right?)
The server where I play has usually not great performance with sometimes a dozen seconds of latency to place blocks, open chests, updating mob positions, etc.
But that shouldn't lead to a difference world state right? (XP not being present when coming back and maybe items sometimes)
Besides, damage is updated very quickly, before seeing what's going on. Could damage updates work in a way that is more forgiving when there is network or server lag?

EDIT: looks like you might have rightclicked it. It does not seem to happen for me though. Neither on current master than on 0.75

Also I would like to add a correction on my earlier boat mechanic observation. I've mistaken Minecraft's boat to seemingly autocenter the camera when turning but in actuality the camera view simply follows the boat e.g. boat turning 5 degrees to the left causes player camera to turn the same degree at the same speed.

We only have very limited control over terrain generation from mods/games. That is mostly done by minetest engine. Doing this stuff in lua tends to be fairly slow although for the nether we might go that route some time.

Looking forward to the new Nether mapgen then. I've posted in the modding section requesting to add this to the terrain generation although I don't know if that was the proper place to post it. The harder issues aside, I think one of the other issue I've pointed earlier that is easily solvable is the breaking of the boat by hand. It's only a matter of assigning it the same way you assign an object/node to be breakable by Axes or Pickaxes etc.

boats are not nodes though. but yeah i'll have a look. Could totally be that this is intended though. Afair you can break them quickly with an axe.

In Minecraft you can punch a boat a few times to destroy and collect it. In Minetest currently, you can't destroy the boat by punching. In early survival games, having to craft additional tools just collect a boat can be an unnecessary detriment.
Unfortunately I am currently in a place where I don't have access to a P.C. only mobile so I can't do any fancy testing aside from waiting for the Minetest autoupdate.

Speaking of feedback, I've been told that the Enderman does not aggro the player even with full line of sight. Jumping makes them aggro which makes me suspect that the line of sight only applies to the Enderman's head since the player is only 2 blocks tall as opposed to 3 including the head of the mob. I've also tested this on 0.75.0 mobile staring at an Enderman face to face with no aggro until I jump.
