As it has been already suggested, the Nether should have more Open Space. It's irritating to have to dig for a while to find a cavern.
Ghasts (when you -finally!- kill them) do not drop anything.
Same for Nether slimes.
Didn't find any fortress along my travels.
Oh, and where are the Nether Warts?
I saw a lot of Souls Sands but....

is The Nether a small space, in This Version?? i'm pretty Deep, into building, so i wouldn't want to start over, unless there was an OVERHAUL, but how come The Unique monsters do not drop?

I've been using the Valleys mapgen and sometimes I get no cavern and sometimes I get a cavern I can't see the other side of. The nether slimes (Lava Cubes) don't drop anything, and the Nether Wart has vanished (same with Nether Quartz - remember that?) but most times I find Ghasts will drop either Ghast Tears or gunpowder. Not sure if anybody has seen a fortress yet.
Hopefully with help from the Big Freeze the next version will rectify some of these issues.

Try Carpathian or V7 mapgens. I've been using mapgen v7 for months and months (though tweaked to eliminate surface cracks and caves, with bigger caverns below -15m) and have moved to Valleys for a change of scenery... Will try out Carpathian when I get tired of Valleys, maybe back to v7 after that (or try out trailgen)... Or maybe I should throw a dice to determine which mapgen to use. (or write a script?)

There is a little problem on my testserver..., blocks like wood or leafs bouncing every stage and falling slow down. This is only a problem with dedicated server, in singleplayer is the behavier correct. There is no difference if i connect on local PC or with other in network, this slowly animation still exists.

One of the areas where Trailgen looks similar MC worlds is the Mesa biome:
Granted this is simply the way parts of v6 worlds are generated, but with the modern biome system in use it opens opportunities like this.

the enderpeople are sneaky, and tend to move around, a lot
hopefully as the Game, evolves, we will see more General Marks, as of right now, within The World (It's Self)

As for the next version fixing it, don't get your hopes up. There's major refactors going on, and Nether worldgen isn't a priority in that.

is this a thing, that every nether-portal i created teleports my DIRECT into a ocean of lava !?!
( i mean, sure ... i am teleportet to a secound portal of course ... but the counter portel in the nether is DIRECT in a lava-bubble -.- )

Walker, try putting your Overworld Portal as close to the surface as possible, and as close to the centre of the map as possible. This has consistently put me in a nice big cave the last few times in Valleys Mapgen. Putting the portal deep underground seems to land me in the lava each time. Hope this helps.

Hi, I noticed a couple of bugs while playing:
Iron golems vs hostiles' mechanics need a bit of tweaking; currently, they can see/aggro each other, through walls, 15+ blocks away from each other, just like spiders in Minecraft.
The player is also affected, so when a hostile is punched, all other hostiles (of the same type, I think?) get aggroed from far away, like zombie pigmen.
This means mob farms need to be reimplemented completely because of the difference between Minecraft and Mineclone 2 mechanics.
The issue tackling this is https://git.minetest.land/MineClone2/Mi ... issues/860, I think.
I very much hope these can be addressed soon, I love making mob farms :)
