I found both hedgewars and minetest in Linux package managers.

I think wuzzy created hedgewars. He's a high ranking member on the site anyway.

Can monster spawners be set to spawn anything other than pigs? Maybe add a spawner for each mob type?

I apologize. This happened before on a different site and was also my fault. We are now in a pm conversation. Involving monster spanners, could come similar to itemframes be used to simply place an egg in a spawner?

I haven't gotten a chance to test 0.33 yet.

No. Monster spawners are currently only pigs. Because pigs will overthrow Minecloneland and rule the Earth! Muhahaha! ;-)
In the future, spawn eggs are supposed to change the mob in the monster spawner. I just didn't implement this yet. Maybe I added the monster spawner to early in the Creative Inventory.

Only a few of them. Most of them are directly from the Pixel Perfection resource pack for Minecraft. Some textures have been contributed by community members (see the README files) and a few textures have been drawn or modified by me personally.

For enchanting tools to have "fortune", "soft touch", and auto-smelt, here's a mod that may help: https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9574, also, I played 0.33.0 for five minutes, and an enderman picked up some dirt with grass, and when I killed it, it dropped the dirt with grass. I got 3 dirts with grass this way, is this a bug, or purposeful? I like it :P

Endermen never pick up things like this. There are only a few block types they can pick up. This is intentional. Note that a lot of MCL2 development is based on whatever the Minecraft Wiki says. Same for what blocks get picked up by endermen.

I notice the in-game help for mobs is still lacking, but I don't know yet how I should handle it or how much information I actually expose.
