BlockColor is a creative sandbox game with only 8 colors - the limit is Your Imagination.

I try to make choices and keep a certain coherence, it makes me remove or add things respecting the colors and the game I want to get. The goal is to make Blockcolor, a non violent game, attractive for children, but also interesting for adults. And also to keep it simple to use on the different machine supports or different ages of people. Also trying to take into account religions, cultures and others.

Since 1.47.0 Blockcolor, You can custom 8 Colors with Minetest.conf with html'Colors.

Maybe, Ideas for next updates :

- Player can Choice Model ? (Panda, Sam, Human ...)

- Collect Mobs, Tree and Others ? (Slime Rancher)
- Player can have a Animal Friend (Minecraft & Pixark ?) ,
- Build and Teleport houses to cornerstone (Trove),
- Add blueprint with model examples houses (Creativerse)
- 2d Model and 3d Models in same World ? (AngelDust)
- Add Portal to Spawns for Teleport to differents SkyLands ? (Portal Knight)
- Modify Character creator with others clothes and beautiful gui ? (Roblox or Unturned)

Else you have suggest for add a mod compability with creative'Game (not Survival or fight mods), you can Add this is. Else you have make a fork mod, textures, schems or other, you can suggest here. I can Choice not add for a reason and other, a suggest or a contribution. For differents reason, I can remove or replace a mod, schem, texture or orher in updates : temporarily or permanently.


Problems Knows :

_ Use Clocks'Decorate create Unknown Object (Actually Remove in Blockcolor).
_ Use BlockProtectNode can create Crash (Actually Replace by Area Mod.)
_ Problem to Exit to move Up with Trap Factory Bridges ( ? )

Idea or Suggest ? Ask Here or Post Suggest. You see a Problem ? Report Here or Post your solution .

interesting

the texture does remind me of an old pencil drawing style texture by Jordach: My Hand Drawn Stuff. 126 by 126

your idea seems to be quite different though. do you plan to have different node types or will water for example stay a walkable node like any other ground node?

some texturing has issues as may be seen here:

the game icon ought to be square and the file version you supplied didn't show on my screen so I edited your icon a little: Image

The current idea is to allow the game to be used as a digital sheet of paper, then take a screenshot of the screen and print it. The game becomes a kind of drawing software that can be used alone, with friends or a community.

Différent ? Yes ...

Here the idea is not to provide a kind of minecraft with a texture pack drawing, but to use the minetest engine to provide something else. The 8 color blocks are like colored pencils, there will be no other blocks or the use of liquid type block, lava or other.

For the icons, I take note, as well as for the conf file. After, having no pc, I can not really see this result, the menu on the android version is different. I would, however, watch if I can not put on github or gitlab for help.

After, the idea is not to provide a complete game, it's just for fun, but free to those who want to modify and improve it, I distributed because I think it It is important to give back to Cesar to Cesar. Basically, my minetest changes belong to minetest.

For apples and snow, and some blocks, the generation may be defective. Indeed, I did not take them into account in the replacement. I would look to provide a mapgen patch or I gladly accept help to improve it.

I really like the style... However, maybe consider (a) extending your colorset to 32 colors(enough to fill player inv)
(b) making a beautiful texture pack !
Should I help you with the translations ? I guess you are french and use google/bing translator...

Hello, Thank for you interrest.

I don't use complète inventory, only the hud. I No think add other Colors or textures packs actually.

I think maybe add a other bar, First bar for Choice a style bloc ( liquide, Light, Windows or others) with 2nd bar for Choice colors.

I think add others Colors, is not a good Choice. Content or Graphic ? ....

My Choice is not Content, not Graphic, make only différent. Colorblock is not content : 8 Blocks only, colorblock is not Graphic : pencil. Not Content ? Not Graphic ? Yes ... Only a kiss concept, for think different and make imagination for create with news ideas.

Well, there's this that already exists: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1354. It's rather outdated, made in 2012, but it should have a good start.

Idea : The first bar would allow to choose the type of block (Door, window, stair, liquid, light ...), the second bar would be able to choose the color or the material. Like on a drawing software or we choose the shape and the color. The hand or the gun here would put the appropriate block on the ground where we click or tap, depending on the type chosen and the color or material.

This would not only allow to deposit a block (stairs, door, window, ...) with the hand, but also to choose directly its color or its material (quartz, wood, stone ...). It would avoid getting lost in the inventory and have something more ergonomic for the user.

An alternative to the current inventory on phone, tablet, pc or other ..

Hello, I stop Update Blockcolor Pencil, i think maybe Merge Pencil in Felt Version.

Screens are test Modify MapGen for Blockcolor Felt , Dev version , Not Url Download Actually.

I can look for create a pencil texture for minetest_game so with color and hand (First version, not the gun).

Remove Area, Add Plot , use singlenode Mapgen for create Plot.

You can use this in server'Build For protect Builds Players.
