Hello Runs Juanchipro youtube yes ?
Do you intend adding monsters to your game
I have added Dmobs,goblins , animals, dwarfs , mineclone2 mobs, others,monsters , sky mobs , nether mobs .
the world is now alive with creatures , some are hunting me , some are hunting each other .
everything seems suprisingly stable , but i know there are conflicts with names that need fixing
what do you think about adding these mobs ?

There are only two (seasonal) monsters right now: Mr Pumpkin (appears only on october) and Santa Killer (Christmas Time). The next monster will be Bomberman (Creeper alike). The Blender model is already inside Petz indeed.cuthbertdoublebarrel wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 10:52Hello Runs Juanchipro youtube yes ?

Updated the itch.io version.
Remember that this version is a easy-to-install Windows version including the latest Minetest plus the Juanchi Game.

Hello runs!
Thank you so much for this great game. I played it for some days and I am absolutely enthused.
what I like most:
Thank you so much for this great game. I played it for some days and I am absolutely enthused.
what I like most:
- I appreciate the textures are based on John Smith.
- There is so much to explore.
- The world is lush, biomes are well designed. (Snow and Desert biomes could be smaller…)
- Minetest Game as base allows use of mods! Bravo!
- I added i.a. curtains, scaffolding, tramplepath, replacer, frame, morelights, walking_light, bright_night (important!)
- Petz are awesome.
- Huh, just found the bottom of the world. Good to know that I needn't dig deeper!
- when diving in swamp water it looks as clear as in normal water.
- recipe conflict: farming:straw and bale:bale
- nodebox of the flowerpot is clumsy: somehow like the cauldron would be better – or make a nicer one: a little bit smaller.
- more door types would be fine (e.g. ts_doors: you can simply add all your wood types.)
- crops: tomatoes and beans should be generated in the world
- anvil: looks weird with this texture pack, I changed
tiles = {"default_stone.png"},
to:
tiles = {"default_obsidian.png^[colorize:#FFFFFF:72"}, - lucky_block: I got a tnt thing that was unstoppable, without cheating it would have destroyed the whole world.
- the need to run over the digged items in order to collect them (like Minecraft) is a little bit annoying. I suggest to implement both ways (like Minetest AND Minecraft) together.
- the sky is too often simply grey, no sun, no clouds. I changed:
player:set_sky({}, "regular", {}, true)
to:
player:set_sky("white", "regular", {}, true)
in snowdrift/init.lua line 164
- sometimes error when the player is buried in falling nodes and game crash (maybe if too many items are generated?)
Code: Select all
AsyncErr: ServerThread::run Lua: Runtime error from mod '*builtin*' in callback luaentity_Step(): .../.minetest/games/juanchi_game/mods/itemhandling/init.lua:18: attempt to index local 'digger' (a nil value)

There is a mini nuke. The Luckybox mod (not included by default in my game) do give you that bomb?
I prefer the magnet thing of Minecraft instead of picking items. To get the default Minetets behaviour, remove the "itemhandling" mod. This mod is causing your crash indeed :-D
The crash is in the magnet drops system. I've changed to oil_boi one. If crashes continues I will return to the stable one. But that line is different from mine? Old version on your installation? Please, check the line 18 in juanchi_game/mods/itemhandling/init.lua, it should be:
local slippery = meta:get_int("slippery")

My line 18 is identical.
It's a matter of taste.
So easy!

YuHan Chee ( ;) ) game is AWESOME!
I love this foggy/smoggy ambiance. But that's my taste, right? :D
With a Carpatian MapGen, it's a "Heaven's Gate". At least, for me.

Are you considering to add small villages and villagers, in the near future?
