So I made a thing.
You get a 25x25 area of bedrock, and nodes randomly fall down from the sky.
So basically you try and survive, and build some stuff.

Just a few suggestions:
I suggest adding some kind of goal,
Some way to reheal,
Also when you respawn you're falling to your doom, maybe reset the map or something (but still have cooperative support,

Hi,
I came across videos of the map version MC, I liked the idea too.
You rely on Minetest Games as a base, but one of the problems is that the falling blocks have no default damage.
Maybe you could add a mod in the idea of killer nodes: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18339#p323942?
to which we add fallen_nodes: https://content.minetest.net/packages/H ... len_nodes/
it spices up the game a bit more ... it remains to choose a block that does not fall to support the ground (a special craft can be?)

I like the simplicity of this game. Two additions would be nice:
- Add a small chance of farming:straw so it's possible to bake bread. Later on in the game falling can hurt, and being able to heal would be useful.
- Add some kind of kill check if you fall off the 25x25 platform. I fell to -31k and then could do nothing except move around in the emptiness. (As a related topic, you might want to change the respawn to happen on top of the highest Y node, as otherwise you can get shunted off the platform.)
