The game has a great ambience, great job! I spent a little time playing with redstone and I found a small problem while building a double piston extender. When a piston pushes a piece of redstone it duplicates it like this:

With a sticky piston this can be used to cheatily produce a lot of redstone quickly by simply flicking a lever.

Yes!! I love the fact that you're including the Aether realm by default. Nether, overworld, aether… it's balanced.

I liked the aether portal transition better than Nether's. It's less obvious HUD texture-wrangling.
So I fixed that, the nether portal uses the same transition as the aether portal now. I also fixed the insane sound overlap if you keep running through portals.

That's great! It always bothers me when wild mobs show zero intrest in the player. After all we're humans...and very often hostile to them. They ought to keep an eye on such potential predators! (Or, in the case of tamed ones, on food suppliers).

Nooo! They deserve to get extinct. Exploders are declared illegal in my games! Either they learn how to behave or they have to stay in other far away places which I never visit :-)
Hahaha, these mobs get very, very interested in the players at night. And if you don't like that stay away from the creepig and flying pig.

I hope that #7284 can get implemented soon as it would, for starters, be able to improve weather and nether environmental effects in Crafter.
I saw this request and I have to say that's a very good idea. It'd be so nice to be able to create custom effects like this in any game. Can be used for enchantments (blindness?) and make it so snow,rain, and snowstorms have limited view range.

I'll have to fix that tomorrow, thought I had all the bugs sorted out with the pistons, thanks.

Actually, the MCL2 textures are Pixel Perfection, which is neatly licensed CC-BY-SA. See what you can scavange from my PP texture pack for MTG here in addition to the original. Also note that XSSheep made a beta 4.0 version of the pack, which sports quite a modified but also nice look.

On another note: my FOV fading almost disappeared with the last update to that feature. :S

During that I found another bug. If two pressure plates are next to each other and connected with redstone, the redstone will stay on if you stand on both and get off both of them at the same time.

Do you have a roadmap (at least a mental one) so we know what to expect?
Personally, I'd like to see more mobs, structures and armor next.

Eventually, I will get around to overhauling redstone again :) But for now it'll be a bit buggy. The entire thing was an experiment haha.

got white spiders and creepers , thought it might be a feature as there is snow patches but bashing sheep for its wool so it looks shorn i got snow instead of wool
all latest builds , had the issue before the update above .

Is it possible to use a texture pack with your game? I tried but it didn't seem to change anything, even with the most basic nodes like grass or stone.

I spent some time testing it, it's quite fun to play! For now I didn't get the snow particles, and was worrying if the snow layer would remain or if there would be some "evaporation", because otherwise it dooms the world to gradually become white everywhere!
But I understand that it's moving fast and I'm just playing on a snapshot of you playing around with various settings.
Anyway, main point is: I get a crash when trying to enter a boat : (I'm running Minetest dev 5.3.0)

It is kinda possible...
because most TP's, are created for MTG, you have to rename all blocks to match the blocks inside crafter (mostly: default --> main).

Thanks buddy. Right now I'm in the middle of an extreme optimization period as part of the multiplayer polishing period. You can't have good multiplayer without fast servers! This bug is due to the fact that I finished rewriting player api to be ultra extremely efficient and customized.
