At one place wheat doesn't grow. At the screenshot all the wheat was planted at the same time.

Make sure nothing is hanging over the top of the wheat, like leaves for instance... They need direct sunlight to grow or a light with 14 or higher rating next to them...

There were leaves above, thank you.

Sorry, I am newbie in Minetest game. I play in singleplayer mode.

I collected some wheat seeds and plant them but not all of them grow. There is nothing to shadow plants.
Here is my screenshot.

Each wheat-plant needs water within a distance of 2.

Blocks of soil don't count as water,
it doesn't work like irrigation in civ-games.

v0.4.14 from Manjaro repository. No newer in it yet. No additional improvements or installation of addons (mods as you say).
