Looking for answers

by davOdo » Post

Hi everyone :)
I just registered here but I've been playing minetest for a while now.

Recently I felt the need to keep the time set to "day" 'cause it was easier to construct under the sunlight but now I can't restore the natural day/night cycle. I looked at the wiki but I couldn't find any clue, and the game keeps looping those few hours. How to reset it?

Also, I had the following doubt since the first games I played: does the world changes/re-grows?
I'm pretty sure I've seen caves that weren't there before (and viceversa).
In the last session I went in an underground cave I've been digging since the start, but I found my way blocked.
Does the game store more than a savegame? If so, is it possible for it to load not the last one?
A more plausible option: the world changes, doesn't it?
Beause the road is blocked (as I had not digged it yet) but I have all the resources I found down there. So I can only think of this option. What to do?

Thanks for your time :)

Put this line in your "minetest.conf" file: time_speed = 72

There are a lot of things you can change in your minetest.conf-file. Look for the possibilities in the file called minetest.conf.example. Copy/paste without the # to use them.

The second problem idk, I hardly play singleplayer, only for testing.
