Nodeboxes Lose Collision Beyond Distance
Nodeboxes seem to lose their collision on areas far from the main node area, unsure whether or not there's a fix other than using ABM's and such, any ideas why this happens?

Re: Nodeboxes Lose Collision Beyond Distance
This has already been reported two years ago: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/2612
The collision detection isn't really fast, so high speeds will consume much processing power and RAM. Thus, fixing it like this isn't a good way. We'd have to clean up and fasten the collision checks in order to check for a bigger range of nodes.
TL;DR version: Yes, they lose the collision effect and you can't do anything else than placing multiple (invisible?) nodes or entities where the player should collide.
