View constantly changes

Hello,

I'm new to Minetest. Installed the 64-bit version on my Win-7 machine. My issue is that as I move the mouse, the view quickly changes to a direction other than where I want to go or look. I could be moving along panning a little to the right or left, and then all of a sudden I'm looking at the sky or the ground or 180 degrees behind me.

The only mod installed is the Achievement mod. I did choose the invert mouse option.

Any help as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

What version did you install? The last similar mouse issue was reported here and solved in 2016: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/4287
Steps to solve the problem (break as soon it works)
1) get the 0.4.16 stable build from http://minetest.net/
2) Compatibility settings for "bin/minetest.exe": look out for something with DPI and enable that
3) Minetest main menu -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Controls -> Mouse sensitivity = 0.05

I installed the latest version available on minetest's website. I believe it's v0.4.16

Since I posted my question, I deleted the Minetest folder and downloaded v0.4.16 again. Problem has gone away nearly 100% of the time, but it does pop up occasionally.

I made the recommended changes. Hopefully that fixed the issue.
