Day/Night Cycle
I know this question is 100% n00b, but it appears my day/night cycle on my worlds is somehow turned off.
I forgot how to turn it back on. Please help.
Thanks.

Re: Day/Night Cycle
I had this problem as well. :)
You need to change time_speed in your minetest.conf to a number different from 0.
I'm not sure which value would be default though. In the example file it says 72 but that seems very fast to me.

Re: Day/Night Cycle
If you remove a setting, it'll use the default value

Thanks!
I was looking at the minetest.conf file inside minetest game.
Whoops.

The setting is in the in-game settings menu as well, see my other post in the other thread you posted in.the_lisp_nationalist wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 01:35Hey...

Re: Day/Night Cycle
It moves by default. If it doesn't then it's because a mod or game has set that setting. We plan on adding world-specific settings to stop mods from doing this to all worldsthe_lisp_nationalist wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 01:35Hey...

Also, you can use Settings > All Settings rather than editing .conf

Hey! Thanks... @Blockhead pointed this out to me in another post, it's working now! :)
