Minetest Problem

Hello, on the start page for Minetest, clicking the Start Game button always results in a invalid password message. What is going wrong here?

I guess multiplayer or advanced start page? If you want to do singleplayer on the advanced page, select a world or create a new world. Make the adress empty. If you want to connect with a server for internet play, don't use a password. Just make one after you connected (escape, change password, leave old password blank). You're using an older version of minetest or it is not fixed yet.
