Hello,
I'm attempting to run a server (0.4.17.1) headless on a clean install of Arch Linux. However, when the server is running, I cannot connect to it (LAN.) Additionally, nothing is shown in the debug output. There are no errors when the server starts up.
Thank you all in advance for your assistance.

Do you have iptables/ufw in use?

I do have iptables installed, but I don't believe I'm using it for anything.rubenwardy wrote:Do you have iptables/ufw in use?

Re: [Arch Linux] Server not responding
Make at /var/log a directory named
minetest
Change the user for the directory to minetest:minetest with
chown -r minetest:minetest /var/log/minetest
Edit the File
/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/minetest@.....service
and add at the line
[Service]
.
.
ExecStart=/usr/bin/minetestserver --config ....
the parameter:
--logfile /var/log/minetest/%i/debug.txt
Restart the server.
Now you have a log for minetest under arch-linux.
Greetings, Clyde.

Re: [Arch Linux] Server not responding
Same issue here. Not using the minetest-server package though, compiled from source. Worked fine on Ubuntu.
