Silicon Village is a survival server, which has his focus on farming and building with the help of technical. So damage and hunger with diet is on. As villager you have to farm your own food, but there a lot of crops and recipes to try. You can make a BBQ as you can eat only vegan food, as you like.
On the building side, many interesting nodes to build are available, from spheres to stairs, from arc's to cubes, from loam to wood until concrete and metal.
Silicon Village has his own currency in shape of coins. The special of this coins is, they are limited on the server. The only way to earn money is, you exchange it at the bank (for the first) near spawn. You don't earn money automatically if you dig a block.
Another way to earn money is, trade. Feel free to open a shop and sell your own productions. Although there are admin-shops, the prices at the admin-shops are often very high. This is, that the villagers have primary the chance to earn money with trade, the admin need no money.
As technician and inventor, you have the chance to build many interest machines, there are mesecons, pipework and technic as mod available.
To claim your own areas, the mod simple-protection from krock is installed. So you can protect your own land without markers. Another way is, you can mail clyde ingame to protect a land for you with the mod area.
So you are invited to visit the Silicon Village.

Rules:
1. No griefing.
2. No hacked clients.
3. No swearing or insults towards other players.
4. No family roleplay.
5. No dating.
6. Do not ask for more privs, or to be an admin or moderator. Also do not ask for items. It will result in a kick from the server.
7. PVP is not allowed, as long not both opponents are agree.
8. Client-Side-Mods allowed, such as Oredetect too, aslong you don't break the Rules before with it.

Hi Ruslan,

a strange Error happens in the default mod, i'm working on it.
Thx for the report.

For the first, Server is running again, i've repaired some griefing-attacks.

The problem is the mossy growth abm.
It seems, that the mossy growth abm don't check, what node is to turning and sometimes there isn't a really node to turn ...

A griefer on my server has shown me the bug, thx for this ;-).

The mod default at line 563 don't checks a valid node.
The problem was the moreblocks-mod.
The moreblocks-mod overwrites the stairs (stone, cobble etc.) and creates instead nodes with moreblocks:stair...
Now the default-mod expects a node from default:stair... and don't check, if there is another nod, what are not in the table of the valid stairs. Default hasn't to check nodes from other mods, but have to check if the node is valid and not nil.
morblocks:stair... is not in the list of default and so the routine gives a nil as node back and try this nil to turn in to a cobble one .. crash.
Fixed the Problem to check before turning on nil.

This is an Error from a client-side-mode on your computer.
Disable the csm-mod preview with: load_mod_preview = false

The problem was in petz, the same error as Gundul has reported.

Petz is now updated and server restarted, it should work now.
Maybe you have to catch and have to release your tamed pets new (lamp and/or pony), so that the old mobs will be overwritten with a correct version.

The server's taking a break.

Reason:
I have in near future few time to admin the server, so it's taking a break.
In this time, the server will not announce, makes no updates and makes no backups.
For Villagers, who played on this server, they can join again and play again but
the only way to protect the buildings will be with protection-marks and/or claim-sticks.
I will take a look again, but not daily.
