I want to push changes to my repo (luxury_decor) via SSH. At first I successfully generated keys (public and private) with a command: ssh key-gen. Then I needed to put public one to authorized_keys file and here the problem is starting. I ran:
cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub | ssh andrey@192.168.2.159 %22cat >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys%22.
After this, I entered my password and following error was caused:
bash: line 0: fg: no tasks management.
What does it mean?, What are tasks?
SSH-keys generation.

Re: SSH-keys generation.
use ssh-copy-id instead
ssh-copy-id andrey@192.168.2.159
ssh-copy-id andrey@192.168.2.159

Re: SSH-keys generation.
I copied the public key to authorized_keys, I try to check ssh -T Andrey2470T@github.com and it causes an error:
Code: Select all
Andrey2470T@github.com: Permission denied (publickey).
