Player figure not standing on surface

Hi,

I run 5.1.0 in creative mode.
When a player is not flying the figure is not standing on the surface block but one block below.
So only the upper half of its torso looks out of the block.
Walking sound and general behaviour is as if the figure is standing on the block.

Any ideas what can cause this?

Update minetest_game, 3d_armor, skinsdb and character_creator - depending on what you currently have installed.


The issue is caused by a breaking change in the transition phase from 0.4.16-dev (2018 IIRC), which later became 0.5.0-dev, 5.0.0-dev and finally 5.0.0. The model offset was changed to use the feet as 0m origin, so that model scaling is possible without gaps below the feet, or submerged shoes.

I startet the game with 5.1.0.
But after your post I deactivated mods one by one and found it was playeranim

You need to set a setting in minetest.conf to make the mod work with MT 5.x.x. The default of the setting is still set for MT 0.4.x.
