Mobs_Redo nil value bug

by Fritzelius » Post

Hello my dear friends. I added a worldmods folder to my world and started it as a server. There I have two mod folders: mobs_animal and mobs_redo. I downloaded them today. When I start the server via batch file, I get the following error message:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\Klaus Dieter\Desktop\Spiele\Open Source\minetest-5.3.0-win64\bin>.\minetest.exe --server --config "..\minetest.conf" --world Tiertest3
[MOD] Mobs Redo loaded

2021-01-22 21:47:00: ERROR[Main]:       Tiertest3\worldmods\mobs_animal\init.lua:22: in main chunk
What do I have to do to get this thing work?

Just tested mobs redo and mobs animals on a fresh world and it's all working ok, chickens are spawning fine... What other mods or custom games are you running in your world ?

I downloaded the latest versions of these mods from github. There were no other mods on this world.

Try removing both mods and installing from the CONTENT tab inside Minetest itself, just incase something went wrong on download.

@TenPlus1
I meant exactly that. I'd never seen them mixed in debug on my Windows machine before, and still wouldn't know how that would even arise. But thanks for the link!
