secure.htttp_mods not working

by quantumansatz » Post

I am trying to play Qiskit Blocks https://github.com/JavaFXpert/QiskitBlo ... skitblocks

And the game keeps crashing and I think it is an issue with my computer.

I get the following message in the console when I start that might be related:

Code: Select all

ERROR[Main]: Secure setting secure.http_mods isn’t allowed, so was ignored.
I could try to copy the crash errors but I cannot copy paste any of the textboxes in the game for some reason.

check the settings in minetest.conf,
there are some to allow/deny this, and list the ones allowed...

The minetest.conf can be seen right there in the github repository, I think it is this line that is not running well:

Code: Select all

secure.http_mods = q_command
But I do not know what to do with it

Ok I think I got it to work. I went to Minetest settings -> All settings -> Server/Singleplayer -> Security -> Trusted mods
And I added: "q_command"

Was there a more natural solution? Could I have edited the minetest.conf to make this automatically?

Secure settings need to be set by the user (using the GUI or the global minetest.conf), they cannot be set from a game's minetest.conf
