How to install texture pack on server? The sticky post instructions don't work.

by AmyMoriyama » Post

I'm trying to install a texture pack on my server but the instructions at the following link don't seem to want to work.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1592

So, is there some missing information?

I put the textures here:
/home/username/textures/ZS250

Then put this in the minetest config file:
texture_path = /home/username/textures/ZS250

Then restarted the server and connected and all the textures are still default.

the correct setting would be /home/username/textures I believe, as the 'textures directory' holds texture packs, not the content of a texture set.
Guidebook Lib, for in-game docs | Poly Decor, some cool blocks | Vision Lib, an all-purpose library.

If you read the file texture_packs_here.txt in the textures directory
Put your texture pack folders in this folder. Textures in the "server" pack will be used by the server.
I have taken for granted rename for ' server' the directory of my textures and adding it in the directory 'textures'. And without adding the texture_path option in the 'minetest.conf' file.

And yes, it is. It works perfectly.
