Why can't the player run equally fast in all directions?

Why can I run faster north and west than south and east? (No joke)
How can I fix the problem?

Version: 5.5.0-dev
Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64bit (Server)

Can't confirm with 5.5.0, using the same OS, and debugging by periodically outputting the length of get_velocity.

Did you always restart (relog after new start client) the test ?
Does the 'road' you run have same view aoptions, mean better you make this test in a tunnel, where NO GPU work for different distance view might be the cause ?
Did you do every direction test minimum 5 times = 20 tests ?

As I know what you mean, I remember that this distance view is a problem at all, so make sure it is not the cause.
