Minetest no longer works on Ubuntu with an ARM64 architecture.
The Minetest package is no longer in the Ubuntu repository and the package available on Flathpak has stopped working.

Re: Minetest on Ubuntu ARM64 architecture
I tried with the PPA (ppa:minetestdevs/stable), I also tried with the SNAP repositories (sudo snap install minetest); no packages available for the ARM64 architecture.
the only package I find is on the FLATHUB repository, but the package no longer works.

Re: Minetest on Ubuntu ARM64 architecture
Do you have any details (error messages, crash logs, ...) on what doesn't work? Ubuntu ships a package for arm64 (albeit outdated) and I bet it works.
Alternatively compiling from source with these instructions should always work: https://github.com/minetest/minetest#co ... n-gnulinux

Re: Minetest on Ubuntu ARM64 architecture
Your apt looks completely borked, since it can't find any of the packages. There's no way that if you have a functioning Ubuntu installation that those packages shouldn't be available. I'd ask for help on an Ubuntu-specific forum and maybe even file a bug report.

Did you ever compile on Ubuntu yourself ? It looks like I used also ...Blockhead wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 02:15Your apt looks completely borked, since it can't find any of the packages. I see some:
* libsqlite3-dev
* libfreetype6-dev
* libgmp-dev
* libjsoncpp-dev
* libzstd-dev
* libluajit-5.1-dev
But they (all) must be installed BEFORE a cmake/make. And there are ubuntu preparing commands comented somewhere.
But the main is, can your (Thorin) Ubuntu be enlarged as of some settings ?
source, etc. ?
