I've noticed it seems that on occasion some mods will work fine for long periods of time then suddenly decide they don't want to work anymore.
Server version doesn't change, mod version doesn't change. Just decides to stop working.
So far this has happened with boats darkage and technic.
Is this just me?
EDIT: spotted a random letter was added to init file without my doing on darkage mod. So now darkage is working again.

I had same issues with mobf and snow earlier. For now, player.lua from builtin gives me errors. It think that "anim" is nill even if I remove any checks and force it to be not nill for any mesh. So I left w/o player animations.
Also, I noticed that that the first time that happened was when I applied ttf patch. But now even w/o it I have problems.
