/clearobjects does really takes long

Hi all, the /clearobjects really takes long. Isn't there an alternative to it or plans to improve that?
This is not a bug, it is a problem.

This mod could be useful. It automatically removes objects every set time set in minetest.config using remove_items =. Seems to work much quicker in my opinion.

Increasing this setting will speed it up a bit, I guess.
