You guys are amazing. Love all the samples so far.

Hope to hear these in MineTest-c55 soon. Without them, it makes the game feel cold.

Hey! That's cool!

Here are some ideas you may have them too:
- sound should have possibbility to be switched off
- record a sample sound of a crowd (or couple of people) to hear a mumbling or something when other player is close to me :)
- decent wind blowing - when you are flying or you are in heights you can hear the wind blowing
- when you fly and turn the fly mode off (or if you fall down from high place) you would SCREAM, right? :)
- when you are in the woods, you can hear murmur? of leaves
- when you eat an apple you can hear the bite :)
- you can hear sea surf at the sea
- you can hear the burning fuel (wood) in the active furnance (oh, it is already in there :) )
- etc... etc...

To your suggestions:
1. Whoever implement the sound system should make this.
2. That would suck if a lot of people are around. Better would be that you hear the sounds other players make, too
3. A really good idea and very easy to make!
4. I don't think that's a good idea.
5. Do you mean rustle? As long as there are no visible leaves on the floor it will be weird.
6. A good idea, too.
7. I already made a water sound. But what's about some gulls?
8. Yes it is. ;)

Thank you for the suggestions.

kddekadenz , for my next release , can I include all my musics and sounds + yours in one archive in order for developer to get a simpler access to all our sounds in one time ?

Where you will upload it? And we need to find a way how to order them and choose some of the sounds, because some are twice.

I can upload it on Mediafire .

For the sounds maybe you can make a list of the sounds that need to be used inside the archive ?

I've send you an e-mail which includes a list of the sounds which need to be used and some other informations.

Well , after all these sounds we made , we decide to make a pack that gather all of them ! This archive regroup every sounds and musics of kddekadenz and me :

http://www.mediafire.com/?7vk6tvvjr4ljjlr

Note to the developer :

We've compressed every sounds in order for the game to keep a good file size . So if you intend to implement the sounds system , THIS is the archive you must use !

For my part , this is my last submission until developers creates the sounds system implementation .

Enjoy !

EDIT : I've just updated the link because I've made another archive . Recently I notified that the "ambient-hit" sounds have another artist name than mine (I've created them , but I had not filled the artist name because there was too sounds like that , but some media player show that is someone called "Jonathan" who've created these sounds) so I've fixed this and re-upload the .7z , sorry for inconvenience !

EDIT 2 : Fixes of some ambient looping sound were not looping correctly .

Apologies to everyone , by testing the ambient-looped sound this morning I've noticed that some of it were not looping correctly . So I have fixed this , you can now download the fixed version of the sound archive :

I used file-roller to compress/extract this archive , try to look if you have 7zip installed .

even re-downloaded file, still cant open it in with file-roller or peazip. peazip can be used as standalone application and can't open it.

Think its compressed with some paramters that my system maybe don't have. And that's not standard.

Can open other 7zip packages without any problems at all with file-roller and even with peazip.

No thanks to you , now that you have reported this problem I will pack in different file types my next releases !

I recommend tar.gz or tar.bz2 for common linux users. or even tar.xz to get them highly compressed.
But it's up to you to decide, and thanks again

Since kddekadenz and I only make sounds for now , I don't care if the archive is really compressed or not , because the audio files have already a high compression rate .

So for the next releases I will only upload .zip and .tar.gz file !
