Sadly im not programmer so i cant make any improvements BUT can some developer make oerkiis very common so i would be able to have some action by killing them. I mean make a option hard where at night there are lotsa oerkiis :D
I love mods :D

Or maybe add another mob that comes out at night (like zombies in MC) that way oerkki's get to remain the same and we gain a new mob ^_^ Either way It would make survival mode more....well survival based hehe

I would highly recommend you two to use the 16 Oct build of minetest (master branch).

Do not forget to backup your world map, though.
