I dont know if anyone ever played/used activeworlds. It's basically a door that teleports you to specific coordinates. It would be useful when you build things that are distant from eachother. ie, i have a town on the mountain, two floating cities, and im starting on an underground city... and i thought, it would be nice to have chambers with portals linking to each location.

Sound crazy? i can imagine having to reuse the code from signs, since they're flat, and you have a dialog (but instead of putting in text you put in a set of coordinates).

Try travelnet by Sokomine. It definitely works very well.
