I built the gate, however it doesn't work, it doesn't teleport me to the surface ...
That's why I'm asking you a WorldEdit return portal ... :)

How did you get to the nether to begin with if the portals don't generate when being punched with the mese crystal?

If the gate is built on the surface no portals are made. I never tested trying to start in the Nether to make a portal to the top.

You mean /teleport?

The nether mod replaces default nodes (stone, coal mineral, mese…) with nodes from the nether mod (netherrack, decorated netherrack, siwtonic…) to reduce e.g. ore noise calculation, air isn't replaced to keep caves. So in singlenode mapgen mode if there isn't stone with ores yet, the nether doesn't generate nodes.
Of course the mod does more mapgen than only replacing nodes (and PilzAdam's nether mod… not more…).

Do you can remove blocks near player after spawn in nether, so players don't be stuck (like in Pilzadam's nether)?

@amadin: as much as i know, if mclike_portal == false then you have to use the /tonether command
he/him; Codeberg; GitHub; ContentDB; public personal TODO list; "DS" is preferred (but often too short)

If mclike_portal is true, obsidian portals should work from earth to nether and vice versa.
It looks like the code is not finished, the function which should spawn a obsidian portal in the nether currently does nothing.
But it should be possible to manually build an obsidian portal there and use it to get to earth.

Anyway, intentionally by default you need to build another sort of portal in the nether which forces you to stay there.

When first using this mod, I couldn't utilize it at all, which was a heavy discouragement. However, I soon found, with extensive effort and sleuthing, the required dependencies for this Mod. I shall post these dependencies here for reference by future users - I think this is a great Mod, but without these other Mods, it's unusable.

Furthermore, I'm encountering an error where when eating a Nether Fruit on top of the Siwontic Block of the secondary portal, I do not get transported back to the previous obsidian portal. Additionally, what do you mean when showing an image of the typical obsidian portal under the spoiler that says to use it only once?

Nope, riesenpilz is already depending on vector_extras, so there is no significant need to make nether depending on vector_extras.
