Thanks, and i found there's a "machine" priv thats supposed to keep them active. It works with me connecting to 127.0.0.1 on single player hosting. I think server hosts should give this priv rather than have afks always.

I cannot confirm. Basic_machines runs smoothly on my server Lilly in the valley
and minetest 5.3.0.

I dunno, I'm using 5.3.0 from Ubuntu PPA. I deleted all mods, copied only the defaults along with update fresh download of basic_machines from https://content.minetest.net/ . Generator can be placed but never makes and fuel.

Maybe try using the basic_machines from rnd's github.

I really like the basic_machines. Everything else than basic, once you understand how they work.
Maybe not everyone liked the veggy update and there is still one or an other bug which can crash
your server. (but only basic_machines pro will know how)
Last thing I could offer is, maybe try my fork. It is without veggies and fixes the one or the other bug.
You find it in my github.

Your fork works for me. I also decided to try ranged weapon while at your repo and it works better than most ranged weapon mods. Thanks very much. (:

I am having problems with the distributor overheating. THe infotext on hover says Overheat temperature 11 as soon as it is placed.

How can I fix this?
