[MOD] stairsIO corner blocks

[MOD] stairsIO

StairsIO is comprised of the Inner corner node and Outer corner node.to match default:stairs

I was planning a mod like this. thanks for doing it now I don't have too, Can you mix stairs? Like can you place a cobble stair and turn it with a wooden stair?
Have you don obsidian and obsidian brick stairs too?

seeing as this has been bumped, recently in May of this year.
This is too nice a mod to watch it just sit idle

I fully agree with what benrob stated back in 2015? "should be in default" (this is where I have placed it for myself)

I have just updated it to add all materials, which stairs do (plus)
It is now up to date with 0.4.16 release...

Is there anyone who can add the new functions from stairs to this? i.e. stairs are placed according to pointing at the top or bottom of a node.

Actually, I think it would be a good thing to merge this code into the default:stairs mod (maybe for the next big release?
Another huge plus would be (as burli has been working on) to create new models for stairs, slabs, & inner and outer corner stairs..., and maybe I can ask Jordach a little more info regarding mapping textures in a "static" manner, which might help some with rotation/texture issues.

I am going to open this as a fork in my git repo

I've been thinking about absorbing the code for stairsIO into the stairs mod for quite a while now...
In my mind, they should have been there long ago.

we'll see, I have so many things I should be doing, but I've been just goofing off, procrastinating and neglecting.
Been mostly fidgeting around with my texture packs

Which is the most up-to-date version of this mod? Is it ultrabots/stairsio, or pithydon/mcstair? I'm confused.

Looks like a great concept though :D

This was already merged into MTG
pithydon's mcstair was made specifically for MineCLone 2

so the version in MTG would be current and up to date.
mcstairs is, as well but, is designed solely for use with MineCLone 2
