[Mod] agriculture

This Mod adds many new farming-plants:
- corn
- tomatoes
- strawberries
- carrots
- sugar-beets
- huckleberries

Every Plant has got a use: you can make different food like cakes or breads.
You can get the different seeds by collecting gardens generated in the map.
Another item which is added is:
- salt.

The Mod is an in progress-work so please notify me if you find bugs or have wishes!
The License of the code is WTFPL and the textures are under CC-SA

Thanks for all your replies! Currently the Mod is not in active development and needs a huge code cleanup. So if any incompatibility issues with the latest Minetest Game appear, please report them here. Of course everybody who wants to improve something is welcome to do that. My github repository for it is here: https://github.com/JBBgameich/agriculture. I'm looking forward to some Pull Requests :)

So far, I haven't noticed any problems with the latest version of minetest (0.4.16). It'd be a great mod for an all-ocean world :P

I will maybe look into this later, as I'm currently quite inactive in the minetest community. However bonemeal sounds like a good idea!

Btw: I pushed a clean-up on github and you are welcome to test and report any bugs!

I tried the mod and I must say that I like it so much, light with essential farm, ideal for a light server.

I have a problem, the tomatoes have a bug (I think) the tomato seeds can I eat them? while tomatoes do not! in addition to this I can not grow tomatoes I tried all but in the sticks I can not put the tomato seeds, if I click on a stick the seeds disappear but are not inserted into the sticks.

if you chraft the stick there is already a sead wait and it will grow

Perfect, you need a starting texture to be displayed in tomato sticks, otherwise it looks like a bug (the seeds disappear from the player's hand but nothing appears in the stick as initial growth).

Tomato seeds can eat them, I do not think this is normal (seeds can not usually be eaten). I'm going to help you improve this beautiful mod, I find that "agriculture" is perfect as a natural extension of MTG vanilla.

* A new texture for tomato sticks (nicer, in perfect harmony with the beautiful textures of plants).
* New textures for some seeds, I put all my efforts and see that I can do.

I quickly fixed the confusion between tomato seeds and tomatoes, and now of course only tomatoes can be eaten :)
I'm not that active anymore in the Minetest community, but I'm happy to merge pull requests and fix bugs.

There are some texture improvements now. So consider updating the mod.
